CoolBreeze Evaporative Cooler Spare Parts — Genuine Components for Australian HVAC Technicians
CoolBreeze is a Western Australian-manufactured evaporative air conditioner brand producing ducted residential and commercial units since 1991, with parts support for all models going back to that year. This collection stocks genuine CoolBreeze spare parts for licensed HVAC technicians and gasfitters servicing CoolBreeze evaporative air conditioning systems across Australia — including wall controllers (QA and QM series), SuperPump water pumps, solenoid valve kits, drain and dump valves, fan motors, fan blades, fan collets, filter pads (FILCEL and Celdek), capacitors, and control boards (PCB).
CoolBreeze evaporative cooling units are predominantly installed across WA, SA, and Victoria. Genuine CoolBreeze parts carry manufacturer part numbers (SP-prefix) and are the correct first choice for warranty-compliant servicing and annual maintenance.
Why Annual CoolBreeze Evaporative Cooler Servicing Matters
SP2031) and a set of pads on the van is standard practice for WA and SA evaporative service routes.Diagnose the Fault — Find the CoolBreeze Part
Match the fault symptom to the replacement component. Always confirm your unit's model number (on the rooftop nameplate) and production year before ordering — CoolBreeze part numbers changed across model generations.

Frequently Asked Questions — CoolBreeze Spare Parts
How do I find the right CoolBreeze part for my model?
Locate the model number and production year on the nameplate fitted to the side of the rooftop unit — CoolBreeze labels include the full model name (e.g., Heritage D160, Cascade, Contour EX165, QA series, QM series). Use this to cross-reference the part listing, or call our team on 0412 333 115 with the model and the SP-prefix part number from the failed component. CoolBreeze maintains parts support for all models going back to 1991 — older units may use superseded part numbers, which our team can cross-reference.
What is the difference between the CoolBreeze QA and QM wall controllers?
The CoolBreeze QA wall controller uses a rotary dial and push-button interface; the QM wall controller is a digital display unit with temperature and timer functions. They are not interchangeable — the QA and QM use different wiring configurations and communicate with different control boards on the roof unit. Always match the replacement controller to the existing series. If the original controller is obsolete, contact us to confirm the current superseding part number before ordering.
How often should CoolBreeze evaporative cooler filter pads be replaced?
CoolBreeze recommends replacing FILCEL or Celdek filter pads at the start of each cooling season — annually for most Australian climates. In hard-water areas (Perth metro, regional WA, parts of SA and Victoria), mineral scale accumulates in the cellulose pad fibres within a single season, reducing airflow and evaporation efficiency significantly. Pads should also be inspected mid-season in high-dust or high-pollen environments. A set of degraded pads is the single most common reason a CoolBreeze evaporative air conditioner underperforms on a hot day.
What voltage is the CoolBreeze solenoid valve — 12V or 24V?
The standard CoolBreeze barbed solenoid valve is 24V (SP2031). Installing a 12V coil on a 24V circuit will burn the coil out; a 24V coil on a 12V circuit will fail to open. Verify the voltage marked on the existing solenoid body before ordering a replacement. If only the coil has failed and the valve body is undamaged, replacing the coil alone (rather than the full kit) is the more economical repair.
Which CoolBreeze water pump (SuperPump) do I need — SP500, SP380, or SP280?
The three SuperPump models differ by flow rate and are sized to the unit's pad area and water distribution requirements. As a general guide: SP500 suits larger ducted CoolBreeze installations, SP380 suits mid-range residential models, and SP280 suits smaller or portable units. The most reliable method is to match the SP-prefix part number stamped on your existing pump body. If the pump body is damaged or the number is unreadable, contact us with your full unit model number and we can confirm the correct replacement. [CONFIRM: exact model-to-pump-size cross-reference from CoolBreeze service data]
What is the difference between the Hydraulic, Ezycool, and Counterweight drain valves?
CoolBreeze has used three distinct drain-valve mechanisms across its production history. The Hydraulic drain valve is pressure-actuated — it opens automatically when pump pressure is removed. The Ezycool drain valve is an electric solenoid dump valve controlled by the unit's PCB. The Counterweight drain valve kit is a mechanical design used on older models (2001–2012 production). These are not interchangeable. Confirm the valve type installed on your unit before ordering — the easiest check is to photograph the existing valve and compare it to the product listing images, or call our team with the model and production year.
Can I get CoolBreeze parts shipped to Perth, Melbourne, or Adelaide?
Yes. CoolBreeze spare parts are held in local stock and ship to all Australian capital cities including Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, and regional areas within 3 business days of order. Given CoolBreeze evaporative air conditioning is most common across WA and SA, we maintain stock of the highest-demand WA service parts — solenoid kits, filter pads, and capacitors — for fast dispatch.
What capacitor does a CoolBreeze fan motor need?
CoolBreeze fan motors use either a 25MF run capacitor (suits 600W motors) or a 30MF run capacitor (suits 750W and 1000W motors). The capacitor value is printed on the capacitor body. A failed run capacitor is the most common reason a CoolBreeze fan motor hums but won't start, or starts slowly and trips on thermal overload. Always discharge the capacitor safely before testing. If the capacitor tests good and the motor still won't run, test winding resistance before condemning the motor.
