Description
This Testo heated industrial probe kit (0600 7630) is built for serious emission monitoring, especially where compliance testing demands maximum accuracy. It's designed to keep flue gas samples hot, stopping condensation that can skew your readings.
Anyone who's battled with condensation throwing off a critical flue gas reading on a cold morning knows why a heated system is essential. This kit helps you get it right the first time, even with high concentrations of NO2 or SO2.
Best For
- Official emission measurement (compliance testing).
- Monitoring prescribed limit values in industrial processes.
- Measurements on laboratory installations and trial setups.
- Emissions checks within flue gas cleaning systems.
Compatibility
This heated industrial probe set is designed to work seamlessly with the Testo 350 and Testo 340 flue gas analysers. It’s critical for applications where precise extractive sampling is needed.
If you're running a different model, check fittings and specs before ordering.
Features
- High measuring accuracy, even with high NO2 or SO2 concentrations.
- Handles flue gas temperatures up to 600 °C without issues.
- Rapid setup time, ready for operation in 20 minutes maximum.
- Prevents condensation of flue gas within the sampling system.
- Ensures gaseous media are transported at a constant temperature.

What's in the Box
- Heated probe shaft (rated up to 600 °C flue gas temperature)
- Heated gas sampling hose (4 m length)
- Thermocouple type K
Using It on the Job
- Securely connect the heated industrial probe kit to your compatible Testo 350 or Testo 340 analyser.
- Insert the probe shaft into the flue gas stream, ensuring it's positioned correctly for accurate sampling.
- Allow up to 20 minutes for the probe and sampling hose to heat up and stabilise before starting measurements.
- Conduct your emission measurements, especially critical when dealing with high concentrations of NO2 or SO2.
- After use, carefully remove the probe and allow it to cool, then clean any particulate matter from the probe shaft.
- Regularly check the system for blockages and ensure all connections are tight before each job.
Limitations & Safety Notes
- Only for use with Testo 350 or Testo 340 flue gas analysers.
- Operate within the stated maximum flue gas temperature of 600 °C.
- Always follow the manufacturer's instruction manual for safe and correct operation.
- Wear appropriate PPE, especially when working with hot flue gases and in industrial environments.
- Be aware that the heated components will be hot during and after operation; allow sufficient cooling time.
On jobs with heavy particulate loads, consider adding the optional preliminary filter (0600 7616). It'll save you a heap of time cleaning out the probe and hose later on, and protects your analyser.
Pair With
Pair with Testo 350 or Testo 340 flue gas analysers and a suitable transport bag for probes for a complete, robust emissions testing setup.
