If you're running a different model, check fittings and specs before ordering.
Features
- Robust Metal Construction: Prevents the handle from melting due to radiated heat from hot flue gas ducts.
- Integrated Particle Filter: An additional filter in the hose protects your analyser from contamination, extending its service life.
- High Temperature and Pressure Rating: Handles flue gas temperatures up to 1,000 °C and overpressure up to a maximum of 100 mbar at the probe tip.
- Replaceable Probe Shaft: The probe shaft is easily interchangeable, making maintenance straightforward and cost-effective.
- Optional Thermocouple Ready: Can be used with an optional thermocouple for parallel flue gas temperature measurement.

Using It on the Job
- Connect the probe securely to your compatible Testo analyser, ensuring the particle filter is clean and correctly seated.
- Insert the probe into the flue gas duct, making sure it's positioned for an accurate sample without obstruction.
- If using an optional thermocouple (sold separately), connect it and position for parallel temperature readings.
- Perform your measurements, monitoring temperatures and pressures within the probe's rated limits (max 1,000 °C, 100 mbar overpressure).
- After use, allow the probe to cool completely. Clean the shaft and check the particle filter for excessive build-up, replacing if necessary.
- Store the probe carefully, ideally in a transport bag, to protect it from damage and contamination.
Limitations & Safety Notes
- This probe is only compatible with specified Testo flue gas analysers. Always verify your analyser model before use.
- Maximum operating temperature is 1,000 °C. Exceeding this can cause permanent damage to the probe.
- Always handle hot probes with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including heat-resistant gloves, after removal from flue gas ducts.
- Ensure the particle filter is regularly inspected and replaced as needed to prevent analyser contamination and ensure accurate readings.
- Always follow your analyser's specific operating instructions and Safe Work Australia guidelines for combustion analysis procedures.
Tradie Pro Tip
Keep a few spare particle filters on the truck. A clogged filter can throw off your readings and put unnecessary strain on your analyser's pump, especially on those dusty industrial sites.
Pair With
Pair with a Testo 340 or Testo 350 combustion analyser and a transport bag for probes to keep your valuable gear safe and organised in transit and on the job.
