Using It on the Job

1. Ensure the industrial engine is safely accessible and any necessary lockout/tagout procedures are followed.
2. Attach the thermocouple securely to your Testo flue gas probe for industrial engines.
3. Connect the probe assembly to your compatible Testo measuring instrument.
4. Carefully insert the probe into the exhaust gas stream, utilising the heat protection handle for safe positioning.
5. Monitor the real-time exhaust gas temperature readings in parallel with your flue gas analysis.
6. After use, carefully remove the probe and allow it to cool before cleaning and safe storage.

• For use only with Testo industrial engine flue gas probes; not for general purpose temperature measurement.
• Exercise extreme caution when working with hot exhaust gases; always use appropriate PPE, including heat-resistant gloves.
