Compatibility

The Testo 915i handle is designed to work with the included flexible Type K thermocouple probe. It's also fully compatible with all other Testo plug-in Type K probes and many standard Type K thermocouple probes you might already have in your kit. For data display and reporting, it connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to your smartphone or tablet using the free Testo Smart App. It can also link up with other compatible Testo measuring instruments, such as the Testo 400, Testo 550s, and Testo 557s manifolds, expanding your Smart Probe system. This unit is approved for use in environments with A2L/A3 refrigerants.

Using It on the Job

1. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment and insert the three AAA batteries supplied.
2. Attach Probe: Connect the flexible Type K probe to the Testo 915i handle, ensuring the locking mechanism clicks into place for a secure fit.
3. Connect to App: Download the free Testo Smart App on your smartphone or tablet (iOS 13.0+ or Android 8.0+). The 915i will automatically connect via Bluetooth.

Tradie Pro Tip: When you're running that flexible probe into a duct, try to secure it so the sensing tip is in the middle of the airflow. Don't let it touch the duct wall, otherwise, you'll get a skewed reading from the surface temperature instead of the actual air temperature. It's a common mistake, but an easy one to fix.
