Description
The Testo 510i Smart Probe is your go-to wireless differential pressure manometer for accurate low-pressure measurements. It’s perfect for HVAC technicians, service teams, and building managers needing quick, precise readings.
Whether you're balancing airflows in a commercial building or checking pressure drops on a split system coil after a clean-out, this tool streamlines your diagnostic work. After years of wrestling with long, kinked manometer tubes, the wireless approach of the 510i is a breath of fresh air for rooftop or ceiling space jobs.
Best For
- HVAC technicians
- Ventilation specialists
- Building commissioning
- Maintenance teams
- Anyone checking pressure drops across filters or coils
Compatibility
Works with Android 8.0 or newer and iOS 13.0 or newer devices via the Testo Smart App. Connects wirelessly using Bluetooth 4.2. Designed for low-pressure differential measurements in air and ventilation systems. If you're running a different model, check fittings and specs before ordering.

What's in the Box
- Testo 510i Bluetooth differential pressure probe
- Hose set: one 1m hose with Ø 3.8 mm, one 1m hose with Ø 5.1 mm
- Hose adapter
- 3 x AAA batteries
- Certificate of conformity
Using It on the Job
- Install 3 x AAA batteries and pair the 510i with your smart device via the Testo Smart App.
- Connect the appropriate hose to the pressure ports of the 510i and to your measurement point (e.g., across a filter or coil).
- Launch the Testo Smart App and select the relevant measurement menu (e.g., pressure drop, static pressure).
- Take your readings, observing for stability. Utilise the magnetic back for hands-free operation if needed.
- For airflow or volume flow, attach a pitot tube (not included) and follow the app's guidance.
- Save readings, generate reports directly from the app, and share them via email for documentation.
Limitations & Safety Notes
- Not rated for high-pressure refrigerant systems; exclusively for low-pressure air and ventilation measurements.
- Requires a compatible smart device (Android 8.0+ or iOS 13.0+) and Bluetooth 4.2.
- Pitot tube for airflow/volume measurements is sold separately.
- Always ensure hoses are properly secured to prevent inaccurate readings or disconnections.
- Follow Australian standards and Safe Work guidance for all diagnostic tasks.
Tradie Pro Tip: When measuring pressure drop across filters, always zero out your manometer with both ports open to ambient air before connecting. This ensures your baseline is spot on, preventing false high readings caused by slight ambient pressure differences.
Pair With
Pair with a Testo pitot tube for accurate airflow velocity measurements, or a Testo Smart Case to keep all your smart probes organised and protected on the job.
