Description
The Testo 310 II Combustion Analyser with Printer is your go-to kit for commissioning and maintaining hot water and residential heating systems. It gives you stable, reliable measurements for exhaust gas analysis, making your daily tasks easier and more efficient.
We know how critical accurate readings are for safely operating heating systems, especially when you're tuning a burner on a chilly Melbourne morning. This analyser delivers the data you need to get the job done right, every time, with no guesswork.
Best For
- Heating fitters and technicians
- Residential HVAC service teams
- Boiler and water heater maintenance
- Apprentices learning combustion analysis
Compatibility
The Testo 310 II is designed for residential furnace, boiler, and hot water heater applications. It supports selection from five different fuel types, giving you the flexibility needed for various heating setups. If you're running a different model, check fittings and specs before ordering.
Features
- Simultaneous Parameter Display: Measures and shows O₂, CO, CO₂, flue gas/ambient temperature, CO environment, draught, and pressure all at once.
- Testo Smart App Integration: Configure the display, operate the instrument remotely, manage data, and perform additional measurements like gas flow pressure via the app.
- Built for the Job: Robust housing, fast 30-second sensor zeroing, easily replaceable probe filter, and a quick-empty condensate trap for tough environments.
- Hands-Free Operation: Magnets on the back let you fix the analyser to metal surfaces like the burner casing.
- Integrated Printer: This kit includes the mobile Bluetooth® printer for instant, on-site documentation of results.
- Smart Probe Design: Features an integrated, kink-resistant hose and a stainless steel probe with a cone-stop for easy and reliable insertion.

Using It on the Job
- Initial Setup: Power on the analyser and allow it to perform its quick 30-second sensor zeroing in fresh air.
- Connect Probe: Insert the 180mm flue gas probe into the flue gas duct, ensuring the cone-stop positions it correctly for sampling.
- Pressure Check: If needed, connect the silicon hose for draught and pressure measurements to the appropriate port.
- Select Fuel Type: Choose the correct fuel type for the heating system you are working on from the analyser's menu.
- Perform Analysis: Follow the intuitive menu to run flue gas, draught, ambient CO, or pressure measurements. Utilise the Testo Smart App for remote operation and additional checks.
- Document Results: Transfer readings to the included mobile printer via Bluetooth for immediate hard-copy documentation for your records or the customer.
- Clean Up: After use, empty the condensate trap and check/replace the probe particle filter as needed to maintain accuracy.
Limitations & Safety Notes
- Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for operation and maintenance.
- Only use the analyser for the specified heating system types (furnace, boiler, water heater) and compatible fuels.
- Ensure proper ventilation when measuring combustion products like CO.
- Do not expose the analyser or printer to extreme moisture or temperatures outside their operating ranges.
- Regular calibration is recommended to maintain measurement accuracy over time.
Tradie Pro Tip: Use the magnets on the back of the analyser to stick it to the burner while you're making adjustments. It keeps your hands free and stops the unit from getting knocked over on a busy site. Handy for those rooftop installs, too.
