Description
The Testo 300 Longlife Flue Gas Analyser is built for heating engineers handling daily installation and maintenance on heating systems. This unit combines Testo's long-standing measurement expertise with smart-touch operation and a robust design, making daily checks faster and more reliable.
Working on rooftops in the harsh Aussie sun, you need gear that’s tough and delivers accurate readings first time. This analyser helps you diagnose issues quickly, ensuring optimal system performance and safety for your clients.
Best For
- Heating system installation and commissioning teams
- HVAC service and maintenance technicians
- Boiler and hot water system specialists
- Apprentices learning combustion analysis
Compatibility
This analyser is designed for a broad range of heating systems, providing accurate flue gas, draught, pressure, ambient CO, and differential temperature measurements. It's equipped with sensors for O2 and H2-compensated CO up to 30,000 ppm, with the option to retrofit an NO sensor for extended capabilities. If you're running a different model or working with specific gases, check fittings and specs before ordering.
Features
- Longlife Sensors: O2 and H2-compensated CO sensors designed for up to 6 years of service life, reducing replacement frequency.
- High CO Measurement: H2-compensated CO sensor measures up to 30,000 ppm with integrated fresh air dilution for high-range accuracy.
- Smart-Touch Operation: Intuitive 5-inch HD display responds quickly, similar to a smartphone, simplifying menu navigation and report generation.
- On-Site Documentation: Create and save PDF measurement reports directly on the instrument, including customer data and a signature function.
- Fast Zeroing: Integrated draught and gas zeroing without needing to remove the probe from the flue, saving time on the job.
- Integrated Magnets: Strong magnets allow for easy, secure attachment of the analyser during measurements, freeing up your hands.

Using It on the Job
- Prepare & Power On: Ensure the analyser is charged. Attach the appropriate flue gas probe (sold separately) for your measurement requirements.
- Zeroing: Power on and allow the analyser to complete its automatic draught and gas zeroing sequence. The probe can stay in the flue during this process.
- Insert Probe: Carefully insert the flue gas probe into the flue, ensuring proper seal and positioning to get representative samples.
- Conduct Measurements: Navigate the smart-touch display to select the relevant measurement menu (e.g., flue gas, ambient CO, differential pressure). Readings will be displayed in real-time.
- Document & Report: Utilise the on-board documentation features to create PDF reports with customer data and a digital signature. Email reports via WLAN directly from the job site.
- Post-Use Care: After use, carefully remove the probe, clean it, and store the analyser in its case to protect the sensors and display.
Limitations & Safety Notes
- This analyser requires an appropriate flue gas probe and other accessories, which are sold separately.
- Always follow manufacturer's instructions for operation, maintenance, and sensor calibration.
- Measurement of combustion products and heating system components should only be performed by qualified personnel.
- Ensure the system being tested is operating safely and according to local regulations before taking measurements.
- While the analyser has robust sensors, avoid exposing it to extreme physical shock or corrosive chemicals.
