Using It on the Job

1. Perform a visual inspection of the heating system and flue, noting any obvious damage or blockages.
2. Switch on the Testo 300 and allow it to perform its zeroing phase. The standby mode feature means it's ready almost instantly.
3. Insert the appropriate modular flue gas probe (ordered separately) into the flue at the correct measurement point, ensuring a tight seal.
4. Navigate the smart-touch display to the relevant measurement menu (e.g., flue gas analysis, draught, pressure).
5. Record readings, including O2, CO (H2-compensated), temperature, and pressure. Document findings directly on the instrument, including customer details and location.
6. If required, use the signature function for on-site customer sign-off and e-mail the report via WLAN to the office.
