Using It on the Job
- Power Up & Zero: Turn on the analyser and allow it to perform its automatic zeroing cycle, ensuring a fresh calibration for accurate readings.
- Attach Probe: Select and attach the appropriate flue gas probe (sold separately) for the system you're testing. Ensure it's securely connected.
- Position Probe: Insert the probe into the flue gas duct according to manufacturer guidelines, ensuring correct depth for representative sampling.
- Run Tests: Navigate through the Smart-Touch menu to perform flue gas analysis (O2, CO, NO), differential pressure, and draft measurements as required.
- Review & Adjust: Monitor live readings on the large HD display. Make any necessary adjustments to the heating system based on the data.
- Document & Report: Utilise the on-board documentation features to create a report, get customer signatures directly on the screen, and email the PDF to your office or client.
- Post-Use Care: Remove and properly clean your probe. Store the analyser in its case to protect the display and sensors from damage between jobs.

- Flue gas probes, temperature probes, and other accessories are sold separately and are essential for most measurements.
- Any work on gas appliances requires appropriate licensing, such as an ARCtick licence for refrigerant components or specific gasfitting licences for natural gas/LPG systems.
- Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines for sensor protection, especially when exposing to high CO concentrations.
