Using It on the Job

1. Identify the rotating component where you need an RPM reading (e.g., fan motor shaft, blower wheel).
2. Ensure the surface is clean and dry. Cut a section of the reflective marker to a suitable size for your target.
3. Carefully apply the self-adhesive marker to the rotating object. Make sure it's smooth and flat, without creases that could affect readings.
4. Position your optical tachometer, aligning its measuring spot with the reflective marker while the object is rotating.
5. Record the precise RPM reading shown on your tachometer. Remove the marker after use if it's a temporary installation.
