Description

Zoom Spout Lubricating Oil – MO98 is an all-purpose lubricating oil made for HVAC maintenance, tools, and small motors that need smooth, lasting lubrication. It’s built for heat and tight access where standard bottles can’t reach.

The flexible spout extends and retracts, so you can aim oil exactly where it’s needed, without tipping half a bottle everywhere.

Best for: HVAC techs, installers, maintenance teams, and switched-on DIYers maintaining motors, hinges, bearings, linkages, fans, and moving parts.

Compatible with: General mechanical and HVAC maintenance lubrication (moving parts, pivots, bearings, small motors). If you need compressor oil or refrigerant system oil, use the correct refrigerant-grade oil for that equipment.

Why “Flexible Spout”?

  • Reaches tight spots around fan housings, brackets, and motor mounts
  • Helps you apply oil where it counts (not all over the cabinet)
  • Better control means less waste and less clean-up
  • Great for on-site work when you’re moving fast
  • Easy to pack in a tool bag as a go-to maintenance oil

Using Your Lubricating Oil: Step-by-Step

  1. Isolate power to the equipment if you’re working near moving parts.
  2. Wipe away dust and grime so oil can do its job properly.
  3. Extend the spout and position it at the pivot/bearing/moving point.
  4. Apply a small amount first (a little goes a long way).
  5. Move the part gently to work the oil in.
  6. Wipe off any excess oil to avoid attracting dirt.
  7. Retract the spout and store upright with the cap secured.

Limitations & Safety Notes

  • For general lubrication only (not a replacement for compressor/refrigeration circuit oils).
  • Keep away from open flames and hot ignition sources.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged skin contact; wash after use.
  • Do not spray/apply onto live electrical components.
  • Use sparingly—over-oiling can attract dust and grime.
  • Follow site safety rules and check the product SDS if required.

Zoom Spout Lubricating Oil FAQs

What’s this oil best used for?

It’s best for general HVAC maintenance and mechanical lubrication—motors, linkages, hinges, pivots, bearings, and moving parts.

Can I use it on fan motors?

Yes, for suitable lubrication points on small motors and moving parts. Always isolate power first and avoid getting oil on electrical connections.

What does the flexible spout help with?

It makes it easier to reach tight spots and apply oil precisely, without tipping the bottle or making a mess.

Is this the same as compressor oil?

No. Compressor/refrigeration circuit oils are specific to the system and refrigerant. Use the correct oil type specified by the equipment manufacturer for those jobs.

How much should I apply?

Start small. Apply a little, work it in, then wipe the excess. Over-oiling can attract dirt and cause build-up.

What should I check before using?

Make sure the equipment is safe to work on, confirm you’re lubricating a suitable mechanical point, and keep oil away from belts, electrical contacts, and hot surfaces.
