Description

Imperial 208-F Pipe Reamer & Deburrer Inner & Outer

The Imperial 208-F is an inner and outer pipe reamer and deburrer with hardened steel blades and a blue finish. It removes burrs from both the inside bore and outside edge of copper, aluminium and brass tube after cutting — essential preparation before flaring or brazing refrigerant pipework in HVAC/R and air conditioning installations. One tool handles both edges, keeping your kit compact on the job.

For internal deburring only, see the Imperial 210-F. See all refrigeration tools and pipe cutting and preparation tools at HVAC Shop AU.

Common Questions for Imperial Pipe Reamer & Deburrer For Pipe & Tube - Inner And Outer - 208-f

The 208-F handles both inner and outer edges of pipe and tube in one tool, using hardened steel blades. The 210-F is a rotary internal deburrer that only removes burrs from the inside of the pipe bore. Use the 208-F when you need to clean both edges after cutting.

The 208-F is suitable for copper, aluminium and brass tube — the materials most commonly used in HVAC/R refrigerant pipework and air conditioning installations. The hardened steel blades handle these materials cleanly without excessive force.

Burrs left after cutting can cause incomplete flares, weak braze joints, and refrigerant leaks. Removing inner and outer burrs with the 208-F ensures a clean, square pipe end that seats correctly in flaring tools and fittings, reducing the risk of callbacks and leaks.
