The Fieldpiece LT16A is a classic-style True RMS multimeter with phase rotation testing built in — a combination that makes it particularly well suited to HVAC/R technicians working on three-phase equipment. It covers the full range of electrical parameters needed for daily service work: volts AC/DC, amps, microamps, temperature, capacitance and frequency, with True RMS accuracy for reliable readings on noisy or non-linear signals.
The included yellow phase rotation lead (AYL1) lets you confirm motor direction before start-up, preventing damage from reversed rotation. Detachable silicone leads, a magnetic hanger and tilt stand allow hands-free testing, and the LT16A accepts Fieldpiece modular accessory heads for expanded capability.
