Compatibility

This extension tube is designed to be screwed directly onto the probe shaft of compatible industrial probe sets. It works with the industrial probe set 1200 °C and the heated industrial probe set. You can combine up to two extension tubes to achieve a total probe length of up to 3 metres. It also supports the installation of an optional preliminary filter for measurements in dusty flue gas conditions.

Using It on the Job

1. Select Probe: Identify the correct industrial probe set (e.g., 1200°C or heated industrial probe set) for your application.
2. Attach Extension: Carefully screw the extension tube onto the end of your probe shaft. Ensure the threads align and it's hand-tightened securely.
3. Add Filter (Optional): If measuring in dusty conditions, install the optional preliminary filter onto the extension tube.
4. Insert Carefully: Slowly insert the extended probe into the flue gas duct or furnace, ensuring stability and avoiding obstructions.
5. Monitor Readings: Conduct your emissions or furnace atmosphere measurements as required.
6. Remove & Store: Once complete, carefully withdraw the probe, allow it to cool, and then disassemble and store components appropriately.

• This extension tube itself is not heated, even when used with a heated industrial probe set.
• Only compatible with the specified industrial probe sets (1200 °C and heated versions).
