Description
This Bonaire PNE->TYT DEAC control board is the brain for specific evaporative cooling units, getting your system back online and controlling fan speeds and water pumps properly. For Australian techs and competent DIYers, replacing a faulty board can save a call-out fee and get the cool air flowing again quickly. Anyone who's spent an Aussie summer on a rooftop knows a dodgy control board can mean a call-back you don't need, so having the right replacement is key.
Best for: HVAC technicians, service and maintenance teams, and competent DIY owners maintaining their Bonaire evaporative coolers.
Compatibility
This control board is specifically designed for certain Bonaire evaporative cooling units. It replaces part number 6061696SP and handles the PNE to TYT DEAC control logic.
Important: This board is NOT compatible with Bonaire units that use an Aquamiser drain valve.
If you're running a different model, check fittings and specs before ordering.

Using It on the Job
- Isolate Power: Always cut power to the unit at the main switchboard and use lockout/tagout procedures before commencing work.
- Access Panel: Carefully remove the unit's control panel cover to expose the existing board.
- Document Connections: Take photos of all wiring connections to the old board. Label wires if needed.
- Remove Old Board: Disconnect all wires and mounting screws, then remove the faulty control board.
- Install New Board: Mount the new CTSPS6061696SP board, reconnect all wires exactly as documented. Double-check every connection.
- Test Functionality: Restore power and test all functions of the evaporative cooler – fan speeds, pump operation, drain cycle (if applicable, but remember Aquamiser incompatibility).
Limitations & Safety Notes
- This board is specifically NOT compatible with Bonaire units fitted with an Aquamiser drain valve. Confirm your unit's drain system before purchase.
- Always ensure power is isolated before working on electrical components.
- Follow all relevant Australian standards and Safe Work guidance during installation.

Tradie Pro Tip
Before pulling the old board, always snap a few clear photos of the wiring. It’s a cheap insurance policy against reconnecting something wrong, especially on a dusty rooftop job where colours might be faded.
Pair With
For reliable evaporative cooler service, consider pairing this control board with Bonaire pump replacements, fan motors, or wall controllers from the HVAC Shop range. A good multimeter is also essential for diagnostic work.
