The Testo 316-3 Refrigerant Leak Detector is a portable device designed to detect leaks in refrigeration systems. It uses a heated diode sensor to detect refrigerant gases, including R22, R134a, R404A, R410A, R507, and others.

The Testo 316-3 has a sensitivity range of 0.15 oz/yr (4 g/a) to 0.02 oz/yr (0.6 g/a), detecting even small leaks. It also features an audible and visual alarm that alerts the user to the presence of a leak detection.
