This is a genuine Breezair CPMD wall controller, designed to replace faulty or worn-out units in specific Breezair evaporative coolers. It's essential for maintaining precise control over your cooler's operation, especially heading into another hot Australian summer.

Nothing's worse than trying to troubleshoot a cooling system when the controls are intermittent, and swapping out the wall controller is often the quickest fix for erratic behaviour.

Best For

Evaporative cooler maintenance techs, DIY owners replacing a faulty controller, and service teams for Breezair EXH, EZH, or EXD models.

Compatibility

This Breezair CPMD wall controller is specifically designed for:

  • Breezair EXH evaporative cooling units
  • Breezair EZH evaporative cooling units
  • Breezair EXD evaporative cooling units

It is a direct replacement for Seeley Part Number 110196RP. If you're running a different model, check fittings and specs before ordering.

Features

  • Genuine Breezair replacement part.
  • Direct fit for EXH, EZH, and EXD series evaporative coolers.
  • Restores full control functionality to your evaporative cooling system.
  • Matches original equipment specifications for reliable operation.

What's in the Box

  • 1 x Breezair CPMD Wall Controller (Part Number SY110196RP / Seeley PN 110196RP)

Using It on the Job

  1. Safety First: Before starting any work, always isolate power to the evaporative cooler at the main switchboard and apply lockout/tagout procedures.
  2. Access Old Controller: Carefully remove the old wall controller from its mounting location, usually by unclipping or unscrewing it from the wall box.
  3. Disconnect Wiring: Take a photo of the existing wiring configuration before disconnecting the wires from the terminals of the old controller. Note wire colours and terminal markings.
  4. Connect New Controller: Wire the new Breezair CPMD controller exactly as the old one was connected, using your photo as a guide. Ensure all connections are secure and tidy.
  5. Mount and Test: Mount the new controller to the wall, restore power to the cooler, and test all functions (on/off, fan speeds, modes, etc.) to confirm correct operation.

Limitations & Safety Notes

  • Only for use with Breezair EXH, EZH, and EXD evaporative cooler models. It will not function correctly with other systems.
  • Always isolate power before working on electrical components. Failure to do so can result in serious injury or death.
  • If you're unsure about the installation process, consult a qualified electrician or HVAC technician.
  • Follow all Australian standards and Safe Work guidance when performing maintenance or repairs.

Tradie Pro Tip

Before you even disconnect the old controller, grab your phone and snap a quick pic of the wiring. It'll save you a heap of head-scratching when you're hooking up the new one, especially if the original installer didn't follow standard colour codes.
