When your Bonaire evaporative cooler needs a smart upgrade, the H2Optimiser Kit steps in. This kit is designed for SBB and Integra units, offering better water management and replacing older Aquamiser drain valves. We've all seen those older evaporative coolers chew through water on a hot Aussie summer, so anything that makes them smarter is a win.

Best For

  • Evaporative cooler service technicians
  • HVAC maintenance teams looking to improve system efficiency
  • Competent homeowners maintaining Bonaire SBB/Integra evaporative coolers

Compatibility

This H2Optimiser Kit is specifically engineered for Bonaire SBB and Integra series evaporative cooling units. It directly replaces the original Bonaire 6051658SP Aquamiser Drain Valve, upgrading its water management capabilities. If you're running a different model, check fittings and specs before ordering.

Features

  • Dedicated Bonaire evaporative cooler upgrade board
  • Designed to suit Bonaire SBB and Integra units
  • Direct replacement for the 6051658SP Aquamiser Drain Valve
  • Genuine Bonaire part (PN SPS6061641SP)

What's in the Box

  • One (1) Bonaire H2Optimiser Upgrade Kit (CTSPS6061641SP)

Using It on the Job

  1. Isolate Power: Always isolate all power to the evaporative cooler at the mains switchboard and confirm zero voltage with a multimeter. Engage lockout/tagout procedures before proceeding.
  2. Access Control Box: Carefully open the control box on your Bonaire SBB or Integra unit to expose the existing wiring and components.
  3. Disconnect & Remove: Disconnect wiring from the old Aquamiser drain valve or control board. Remove the old component.
  4. Install New Kit: Fit the H2Optimiser Upgrade Kit in place of the old component and carefully connect all wiring as per the manufacturer's diagrams.
  5. Secure & Test: Ensure all connections are secure and no wires are pinched. Re-mount control box covers. Restore power and test the unit's operation, checking for proper water fill and drain cycles.

Limitations & Safety Notes

  • Electrical work on appliances should only be performed by a licenced tradesperson where required by local regulations.
  • Always ensure power is completely isolated and verified before commencing any installation or replacement.
  • This kit is only for compatible Bonaire SBB and Integra units as specified. Not designed for other evaporative cooler brands or models.
  • Follow all Australian standards and Safe Work guidance during installation.

Tradie Pro Tip

When you're replacing control boards or drain valves on evap coolers, always take a clear photo of the original wiring before you disconnect anything. It’ll save you a headache later, especially on older units where diagrams might be faded or unclear.
