Our story

HVAC Shop launched in August 2021 out of frustration with the Australian HVAC tool market — too many generalist retailers stocking a handful of HVAC products alongside power tools and plumbing gear, with staff who couldn't tell a 2-stage vacuum pump from a recovery machine.

We built HVAC Shop to be different: a specialist supplier focused entirely on the tools HVAC and refrigeration technicians actually use on the job. That means a curated range, honest product information, and support from people who understand the work — not a call centre reading from a script.

Since 2021 we've grown to stock tools from over 20 professional brands, serve customers across every state and territory, and build relationships with authorised distributors for the brands Australian tradies trust most.

HVAC Shop is an authorised Australian reseller for a number of the brands we stock. This means the products we sell are genuine, covered by manufacturer warranty, and supported by the brand's local distributor network. Brands we are authorised to sell include:

Shipping, returns & warranty

We ship Australia-wide using a mix of carriers depending on product type and destination. See our Shipping & Returns page for full details.

• Dispatch: in-stock orders typically ship within 3 business days from our NSW warehouse.
• Carriers: Australia Post, TNT, Hunter Express, and Toll Priority (carrier varies by order and destination).
• Metro delivery: typically 1–3 business days to capital cities.
• Warranty: manufacturer warranty applies — duration varies by brand and product.

Compliance & safety (Australia)

Some HVAC/R tasks — especially anything involving refrigerant — are regulated in Australia. If work involves handling refrigerant or activities where refrigerant could be emitted, it must be carried out by an appropriately licensed person under the ARCtick refrigerant handling licence framework.

HVAC Shop supplies tools and equipment only. We do not provide installation, commissioning, or refrigerant handling services.
