The kit is designed to create a precise 45-degree flare on copper, brass, aluminum, and thin-wall steel tubing, and the tube cutter is suitable for cutting tubing up to 1 inch in diameter. The kit is named "Rol-air" because it features a Rol-air flaring tool which has a unique air conditioning design that reduces the amount of torque needed to make a flare.
